SCEDA’s MidYear Meeting Excursions will take place on Thursday, September 24.
Golf Outing
When: Thursday, September 24; Shotgun start at 12:00pm
Where: Willow Creek Golf Club (plan for a 30 minute drive from the hotel)
Cost: $150 for golf (lunch is included)
Sporting Clay Outing
50 clay tournament and 50 clay team flurry
When: Thursday, September 24 – Registration at 8 am; Shoot starts at 8:30 am; Lunch at 1:30pm
Where: Clinton House Plantation
Cost: $175 single shooter
$600 for team of four (4)
This year we are teaming up with HRP’s Clays For Cancer.
If you haven’t shot sporting clays at the Clinton House Plantation, you’re missing out! This range offers shooting options in 100-yard increments, all the way up to 1000 yards. You’ll shoot in comfort with covered shooting stations, stable benches, and gun rests.
Economic Developers’ Field Day – Tour of CMI and ICAR
When:Thursday, September 24 – 10 am – 2pm
Where:ICAR and CMI
Cost: $65
Join us for a tour of the Greenville Technical College Center for Manufacturing Innovation (CMI), located adjacent to CU-ICAR. Learn more about education and training programs in robotics, 3D printing, mechatronics, and CNC machining. See state-of-the-art manufacturing technology in this modern learning environment.
CMI brings together research and education, giving students access to experienced engineers and manufacturing experts who teach the manufacturing professionals of the future and help students build problem-solving skills through real-world projects that move manufacturing forward. Students benefit from a modernized curriculum, flexible career pathways, and certificates of proficiency to both begin and advance their careers in advanced manufacturing.
Next, we will go next door to the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR). Since its founding in 2007, CU-ICAR has brought significant research activities, real estate development investments, and high-paying jobs to South Carolina. CU-ICAR is a national model of private-public partnership driving regional economic development.

SCEDA Women Wine Excursion – SOLD OUT

The SCEDA Women are invited on a winery excursion that includes visits to three wineries, an expert guide, and interactive tastings. A picnic lunch is included.
