Please confirm your renewal date which is listed on your most recent certificate. Whether your certification renewal date is December 31, 2025 or a subsequent date, the requirements are the same and must be adhered to and submitted for approval no later than that date in order to maintain your designation as an SCCED.
Two important things to note during the recertification period are:
- Any professional development sessions/events that are desired to be counted as points for recertification that are not on the pre-approved list must be approved by the SCEDA Professional Development Committee prior to attendance of the sessions.
- A minimum of 10 (ten) of the total points submitted must come from SCEDA pre-approved events, i.e. mid-year meeting, annual conference and membership meetings. The Advanced Symposium will not count as points for SCEDA events.
