Interested In Earning Your SCCED?
The South Carolina Economic Developers’ Association has extended its Advanced Symposium application deadline to October 1, 2024.
SCEDA is re-opening the 2024-2025 Advanced Symposium application process and extending the deadline to October 1st at noon. This extension is due to several SCEDA members indicating they did not receive the initial email announcement. We want to ensure that all who are interested in attending the Advanced Symposium and earning the South Carolina Certified Economic Developer (SCCED) credential have access and are given the opportunity to apply.
The Advanced Symposium is an advanced level course for professional economic development practitioners. At the end of the program, candidates must complete a written project and presentation. Successful completion of the Advanced Symposium will earn attendees the South Carolina Certified Economic Developer credential.
