The Original Six Foundation (O6) My First Library program, supported by SCEDA Women, has been incredibly fortunate to receive such generous donations so far! With the support of SCEDA Members, we’ve seen a significant amount of monetary donations and book donations, allowing us to provide high-quality, grade-level books to students in South Carolina’s highest-need 5K classrooms.
These donations are already making a difference, enabling us to host festive, end-of-year book fairs where children can select their own books—instilling a love of reading and setting them up for academic success. However, our work is far from done! The need is great, and there is still much more we can accomplish.
